Supporting commercial vehicle customers throughout the Mid West, Daimler Trucks Geraldton provides truck sales, servicing, and parts support across a wide range of leading commercial vehicle brands. This traineeship offers a structured pathway to develop the knowledge and skills required to become a qualified Parts Interpreter within a supportive and experienced team.

About the Role

As a Trainee Parts Interpreter, you will learn all aspects of the parts department while assisting with:

• Parts identification and interpretation
• Customer enquiries, quoting, and sales
• Ordering parts and maintaining stock levels
• Receipting and dispatching inventory
• Inventory control and stock management
• Maintaining parts records and catalogues
• Supplying parts to the workshop team
• General parts department administration and operations

Throughout the traineeship, you will progressively develop the skills and industry knowledge required to work independently as a Parts Interpreter.

• Be confident communicating with customers and workshop staff
• Be comfortable using computers and learning new systems
• Have an interest in automotive, trucks, or mechanical equipment

Desirable Requirements

• Driver's licence preferred, but not essential
• Previous automotive, retail, warehousing, or parts experience is advantageous but not required
• Genuine interest in the automotive or heavy vehicle industry
